Venue: Asteriks, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands
Rock at Night recently caught the bands Canshaker Pi last week at the venue Asteriks at Leeuwarden.Canshaker Pi is a garage rock band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with a gritty and rough and screaming sound. In reviews, the band often is compared with the Pavement and Dinosaur Jr. – but a little heavier. Canshaker Pi released an EP earlier this year called Boomslang and is busy with a club tour. Probably the band will be on many festival line ups this summer.
