Third Annual Celtic Family Jamboree at SERTOMA RANCH, Brooksville, Florida
Get ready for the Third Annual Celtic Family Jamboree to be held at Sertoma Ranch, Brooksville, Florida on February 6th and 7th, 2015. According to Greg McGrath, Business/Promotions Manager with Celtic Heritage Productions Inc there will be not only concerts on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon/evening but a whole weekend of family-friendly activities. The featured bands include both celtic rock and traditional celtic music from Florida and the Appalachians. I recently saw Albannach and Cutthroat Shamrock at the 2014 Florida Celtic Rock Festival in Dunedin, Florida, and was thrilled to see they are playing at Sertoma Ranch. Another rock band, Rathkeltair, will be featured as well as traditional Celtic fare., such as Brendan Nolan, West of Galway, and Marcille Wallis & Friends.
For those wanting to make a nice weekend getaway at the festival, Sertoma Ranch offers camping facilities and hotels are nearby in both Brooksville and Dade City. I understand there will be musical instrument workshops on Saturday morning and Highland athletic demonstrations in the afternoon.
