Venue: Epic Problem, Tampa, Florida–Sudden Suspension
Sudden Suspension: Brandon Stasi (vocals/guitar), Griffin Taylor (drums), Tyler Albertson (guitar) and Brandon ‘Blake’ Blakeley (bass).
On a muggy Wednesday evening, Sudden Suspension, a pop-punk from Lake County, Indiana, arrived to play with Bad Luck, at Epic Problem in Tampa, Florida. The band has been touring across the country promoting their latest EP There’s a Bigger Picture Here (Bad Timing Records), which was released on June 16th. This EP is epic if you have not heard it. The songs are biting and energetic but also sensitive like the song “We’ll Always Have Each Other.” As musician Brandon Stasi noted, the songs reflect his feelings and emotions, which are often filled with angst. Rock At Night sat down with the band to get some insight into their experiences on touring, growing up in a small town in Indiana, seeking careers as musicians, and more.
