VENUE: Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater, Florida–November 6, 2015
Firefall, was right on the money on Friday, November 6th at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater, Florida. Opening the show for Little River Band, it seemed like 80% of the fans were Baby Boomers–but age does not matter when it comes to rock ‘n’ roll!
The fans where very receptive to every song. They sang the lyrics to every song and danced in their seats, clapped and smiled with their love for the music.
The sound quality at the venue was great. It was almost like listening to the old vinyl records. The band played tight-as one would expect. When the band was doing their introductions, Chris Ball (sax/flute/keyboards/vocals) introduced the founding member Jock Bartley as their “fearless leader”. And a great leader he has been. Firefall is a platinum selling band and they have been around creating hits since 1974.
Today’s line up includes original members Dave Muse (Flute/sax/keyboards), Jock Bartley (guitar), Mark Andes (bass) with Sandy Ficca (drums) and Gary Jones (guitar & vocals).
With hit songs like “Strange Way”, “Mexico”, “Just Remember I Love You”, and “Livin’ Ain’t Livin’”, and “You Are the Woman”, how can you go wrong?
Overall, it was a great evening for this awesome classic band.

Just found this article. It’s probably a bit late now, but thought I would offer a few corrections as the band names are incorrectly listed. The band line-up was/is; original members Dave Muse (Flute/sax/keyboards), Jock Bartley (guitar), Mark Andes (bass) with Sandy Ficca (drums) and Gary Jones (guitar & vocals)
