ROCK AT NIGHT’S BAND OF THE MONTH!
TOWN OF SAINTS–No Place Like This album will be released on April 1, 2016
Venue: Neushoorn Cafe in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands-February 20, 2016
The Dutch/Finnish band Town of Saints is doing a pre-release tour “No Pub Like This Tour” of their new album No Place Like This, in some small venues in The Netherlands. The 1st of April is the release date and the start of a tour in various clubs and festivals throughout Europe.
Town of Saints started as a busking act in 2010, with Harmen Ridderbos (vocals/guitar) and Heta Salkolahti (violin/vocals). The following years the musicians transformed from an upbeat indie-folk duo to a five-headed groovin’ band. They have broadened their musical horizon with some some tropical influences like Paul Simons Graceland and added some darker music like U2.
RAN shot the band last weekend at Neushoorn Café in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Highlights of the event are presented below:
Town of Saints is: Harmen Ridderbos (vocals, guitar), Heta Salkolahti (violin, vocals), Berend Rombouts (guitar), Jukka Kiviniemi (bass), Jesse Bosman (drums)
