Among the Easter markets in town and numerous animations on the streets, the music festival and culture are the most important events. Thirteen concerts with a jazz and classic’s consonance, take place in the most prestigious halls of the city.

BOSSARENOVA TRIO choose this beautiful venue to finish their short European Tour, which visited Portugal, France and Italy.  Paula Morelenbaum, world-famous to have been the voice of Antonio Carlos Jobim band, and two German musicians , Joo Kraus ( trompet ) and Ralf Schmid (piano) form this virtuoso TRIO.

The set list of this European Tour take place on their last and famous album called  Samba Preludio a melting-point between European Lieder songs and Brazilian tropical beat.  In a way never heard before, they charmed the audience from the first notes. The wonderful harmonies of Samba and Choro had flat throughout this mesmerizing evening.

Paula Morelenbaum and her tender and grooving vocal percussion floated over a piano accompaniment filled with electronic pulsations and a trumpet and beatbox elements. Unusual instruments in the Bossa Nova world, where Guitars and percussions take often a big place to build the beat!

Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Pixinguinha, Villa Lobos, Chopin, Schubert, Schuman and Monteverdi were revisited that night creating a beautiful bridge between Classical and Modern music. It was a beautiful and warm night for this fusion of occidental lyric poetry and tropical groove.
