Broken Brass Ensemble is a Dutch brassband from Frisia, a northern region of the country. It’s not a typical brass band, they inject the traditional New Orleans brass with a fusion of hiphop, funk, soul, dance, jazz (and much more) and turn it into a blazing mixture of energy.
Live they deliver hard-hitting brass sounds and their interactive and riotous live shows have seen them conquer crowds all over Europe. They have sold out shows during tours in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland. The band is touring through The Netherlands now, before they’re crossing borders again. RAN crept in and shot the band at Podium Asteriks, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
