Review: Single “Misery” by Attica Riots
I just watched the video of Winnipeg-bred Attica Riot’s new single “Misery”, which will be featured in the band’s upcoming debut album Love Sunshine & Hysteria. The album is produced by Mark Needham (Fleetwood Mac, The Killers, Imagine Dragons) and will be released via Five Seven Music this summer. I really like the song and feel the need to share. “Misery” is refreshing with sing-along lyrics, 80s-style poppy, keyboard riffs, and simple garage-rock accompaniment, with a danceable beat. This could be a fun summer hit! Listening to the single makes me want to hear the rest of the album. Listen, kids! It also appears they will be touring with Rooney in the Northeast US in May. Rock At Night is going to keep an eye on this band!
Members: Bobby Desjarlais, Anders Erickson, Kyle Erickson; Home Town: Winnipeg-Canada
