Following the release of their self-titled EP, Toronto based alternative band BLEEKER will set out on a two month North American tour beginning June 30th. The band announced 23 US tour dates alongside Sublime with Rome, The Dirty Heads, and Tribal Seeds, hitting 20 states spanning Miami to Seattle. Full tour dates are below!
Also, check out Bleeker’s video for “Highway” which is a fun, balls-to-the-wall song which makes me want to hear more from this band! It is high energy garage rock with lots of attitude. Rock At Night believes fans of The Struts or The Black Keys will definitely enjoy Bleeker.
Bleeker – “Highway”
Bleeker’s aesthetic and work ethic remain as sturdy and as unshakable as ever. Musically, Bleeker cross-pollinate the swagger of The Rolling Stones with psych-tinged groove, falling among the likes of Royal Blood, and The Black Keys on the alternative spectrum. What sets them apart is an ever-so-subtle current of loose cannon danger that courses through every riff, note, and melody of their music.
Bleeker live to play and play to live, but they don’t take themselves too seriously and they don’t try to force anything; instead, they approach the art and craft of making music with the same unjaundiced eye as when they were first getting their legs under them. They refuse to get sucked into cynicism or any forced pressures. It’s not do or die for them — it’s just do! Catch Bleeker as they storm the North American market.
