GET TO KNOW BAD SEED RISING IN 10 QUESTIONS

Rock At Night is really excited to introduce you to the world. Tell us about the band….what are your names and what instrument does each person play?

Hello, everyone we are Bad Seed Rising! Francheska Pastor: Vocals, Mason Gainer: Guitar,Aiden Marceron: Drums, and Louey Peraza: Bass.

How long have you been together and how did the band form?

We’ve been together for four years now and we all met through a music school founded by Aiden’s dad.

How would you describe the genre of music?

Just rock I guess! haha!

Do you have any EPs or albums out?

We have three EP’s out and are working on our debut full length right now!

Is this your first Warped Tour? What was the first thing you did when you found out you were going on the Warped Tour?

This is our first Warped Tour and we’re so excited! I told all my friends and family about it, called my girlfriend and kinda’ just had to sit down and think about how surreal it all was.

Have you toured before with the band? If so, what is the best thing about touring and the worst thing?

Yep, I’ve been with the band since the beginning. I’d say getting to travel and play new places in front of new faces is really fun. As far as the worst part of touring I’d have to say missing/ being away from loved ones is pretty sucky– but the actual touring is fun, so it pays off.

The Warped Tour helps a lot of non-profits. Is there a particular charity or non-profit that is dear to your heart?  Tell me a little about it.

We haven’t looked into all of the charities on Warped yet, but we definitely want to hop on with a bunch of non-profits–especially ones with mental health awareness, or any LGBTQ+ nonprofits, or helping women-especially women of color. Anything to help absolutely anyone, we want to be apart of. The world needs more help and love.

What do you think is the biggest challenge that young people face today?

All of the hate and division that has taken over the world.  There is so little love and acceptance today and it’s totally sad.

What stage will you be playing on?

We’ll be on the Full Sail Stage so come hang out!

Do you have any advice for bands starting out? What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned along the way?

Stay humble and never stop learning new things! There’s always something cool to learn and its always good to keep improving, plus its fun!
