Venue: MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa, Florida–July 15, 2016
On Friday night, the MY2K Tour brought Dream, Ryan Cabrerra, O-Town and 98 Degrees into the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater. Dream started off with a great blast to the past with “I am Woman”. However, after their performance it went down hill from there. The skies opened up with awful lightening and hail so the MY2K tour had an almost two hour delay. With the show not starting again until almost 10pm (the time 98 Degrees was supposed to hit the stage) we thought we would end up missing both Ryan Cabrerra and O-Town but to our surprise, O-Town hit the stage and the soggy crowd went wild.
O-Town members Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, Trevor Penick and Erik-Michael Estrada were full of energy and gave it all they had. At one point during their set, they made some fans very happy by taking their phones and recording videos and taking selfies.
A quick set change and 98 Degrees came on and it was as if the crowd had forgotten about the storm. The foursome made up of Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre sounded great and still had the moves.
