The band My Baby plays a mix of delta blues and country on funky trancy beats. The trio wass founded in 2012 in Amsterdam by Cato van Dyck (vocals, guitar), her brother Joost van Dyck (drums) and Daniel Johnston (guitars). Since their debut album ‘My Baby Loves Voodoo!’ (2013) was a big success the band has toured in throughout Europe and increasingly beyond. The band did some gigs together with bass player Larry Graham and last year My Baby was the support act on the UK-tour of Seasick Steve.
The music of My Baby is very danceable and the band is popular on outdoor festivals. RAN photographed My Baby at Welcome to the Village in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
