If you haven’t read the article for the opening band, Kyng, jump to HERE.
After Kyng delivered a powerful performance, the crowd were already pretty rowdy and waiting for Mr. Zakk Wylde to take the stage and deliver some Black Sabbath classics with Rob Blasko and Jerry Castillo.
I never had the chance to photograph Zakk Wylde before, so I have to say I was impressed–the man is huge! And so is his charisma, the man simply dominated the stage to deliver some good ‘ol Heavy Metal.
When the sirens went out, the crowd was ready for some “War Pigs”. Holly S**t, I swear I had goosebumps, and it really looked like everybody else had it too. It’s hard to explain to someone outside the headbanger community, but moments like this are what bring us all together like a big, rowdy, loud, savage family. We just become the ugly, rough, group of old bearded men wearing leather vests version of young teenage girls screaming for a boy band.
But wait, there is more, check it out the pictures to find out what treat surprise Zakk Wylde delivered for his Raleigh fans.
