Hannah Williams, backed by her band The Affirmations, is a whirlwind of soul, love, lust and anger. She exploded onto the soul scene in 2012, and did it again with her newest album Late Nights & Heartbreak. Some journalists call her a “Rescuer of the British soul music,”–and maybe she is– but she brings SOUL in capital letters. The album has received many ‘five star’ reviews, as well as her performances.
Hannah Williams & The Affirmations is based in Bristol, Great Britain, at the moment they are doing the ‘Late Nights & Heartbreak Summer Tour’, mainly in Europe, and in the beginning of July in Canada.
Rock At Night (RAN) caught Hannah and her band at the festival Here Comes The Summer in The Netherlands.
