Southern California’s The Jacks have released their new single “Tonight”. Their sound is energetic, gritty, and reminiscent of the British Rock heyday. The Jacks stand by their claim, “We are not a rock band, we are a rock n’ roll band.” With a heavy influence from the British Invasion of the 1960s and 70s, The Jacks have developed a rare sound that is unruly, bold, and hard to be ignored – they won’t settle for blending into the scene.
From their live shows to their recording techniques, they keep integrity to who they are and how they believe their music should sound. The 4-piece doesn’t hide behind auto-tune, click tracks, or backing tracks, what you hear is what you get.
The band has been selling out high profile LA venues like The Troubadour and The Roxy and have been featured as Live Nation’s One’s To Watch. They are due to set off on a nationwide tour this fall. The Jacks are Jonny Stanback (vocals & Rhythm Guitar), Tom Hunter (lead guitar), Scott Stone (bass guitar), and Josh Roossin (drums & percussion)

I'm a photojournalist who is passionate about music. I love the adrenaline of shooting live concerts. Photography has given me the opportunity to photograph some of today's most legendary bands, and entertainers. When I'm not photographing music you can find me on the runway shooting New York and Philadelphia Fashion Week.
