Yorkshire four-piece Hands Off Gretel have released their new single and video “Kiss Me Girl”. To coincide with the release, the band also have a full UK tour planned for Sept/October, followed by a support tour with the Virginmarys in November.
“We have been off the radar for a few months, but we have a lot of new songs under our belt now and we are just revving the engine ready to go full throttle. “Kiss Me Girl” gives you a flavour of what’s to come! You are going to be hearing a lot more from us over the next few months!”
Hands Off Gretel channel the best of old skool riot grrrl with grunge/pop rock to make a sound that is identifiably and unquestionably now. The band features Scream queen Lauren Tate (lead vocals, Guitar), Becky Baldwin (Bass guitar, backing vocals), Sean Bon (lead guitar) and Sam Hobbins (Drums). Founding the band at just seventeen, band songwriter and front woman Lauren is also the force behind the band’s recognizable aesthetic, creating all the bands visuals, merchandise and producing all of the band’s videos to date, including the latest “Kiss Me Girl” video release.
The band have played over 100 shows, including major festivals, such as Download, Isle of Wight, Rebellion, Camden Rocks Loud Women Festival , Liverpool Sound City, and Live at Leeds Fringe. They have also toured Europe and have played 5 ‘Camden Rocks Presents’ headline London shows in London.

When I'm not photographing music you can find me on the runway shooting New York and Philadelphia Fashion Week.
