TSO is celebrating 20 years on the road this winter with an all-new production of ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ featuring the Best of TSO and more!! Complete with all the lasers, pyro, suspended stages, and special effects TSO is known for as well as outstanding performances by the Orchestra musicians, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra provided the audience with so much more than just a concert. A TSO show is an extravaganza, and one of the hottest Holiday shows since they began touring in 1999.
TSO was formed by the late Paul O’Neil in 1996. Paul’s vision was for a band that was conceptual, art-focused, and, like the world itself, intended to be ever-changing, as well as ever-lasting. Everything not expected of rock music at that point in time. At the time of his passing in 2017, Paul had achieved that dream, turning Trans-Siberian Orchestra into one of the most beloved touring acts of the new millennium, having played in excess of 1,800 shows for more than 14 million fans across the globe, with multiple platinum albums selling more than 10 million copies.
Lead guitarist and live music director Chris Caffery, a founding member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, took a moment during the show to honor Paul. As he introduced “Someday,” Caffery mentioned of the “countless” songs O’Neill wrote, this is the one he will always hold closest to his heart.
The Prog Rock band continued to impress the sold out audience with their excellent interpretations of traditional holiday songs and while mixing in some of TSO fan favorites.
With flames roaring, lasers searing light beams, and musicians repelling from the sky, the all age audience couldn’t stay in their seats.
A Holiday tradition and fantastic family show for all ages, ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ featuring the Best of TSO and more” tour continues through December.
