Ceramic Animal could be described as a couple of nasty boys from Doylestown not far from Philadelphia playing psychedelic garage-yacht. On March 2, 2019 it will be more accurate to describe them as a couple of nasty boys from outside of Philadelphia playing psychedelic garage-yacht all over the as they embark on a 20 date nationwide co-headlining tour with Spendtime Palace, hitting cities such as Denver, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, New York, as well as a stop at SXSW.

The five-piece outfit consists of three brothers: Warren Regan (vox/guitar), Elliott Regan (keys/vox), Erik Regan (drums) as well as the not-brothers-but-highly-brotherly Dallas Hosey (bass/vox) and Ant Marchione (guitar). The group independently released its first album The Cart in August 2016 and the follow-up album The Horse in August 2018, drawing comparisons to artists like Mac DeMarco and Foxygen. Both albums have been written, mixed, and produced by Warren Regan.
Ceramic Animal have a special signature look of wearing their handsome-boy suits during equally-as-handsome live performances. They are the first band to steal my heart this year and I always often wonder “where have I been” when I hear a really good band that I’ve been missing out on especially being near the Doylestown area myself, and trust me I’m not just saying this because I’m very familiar with the beautiful town of Doylestown-a town that is known for it’s quaint little shops, restaurants, and unique museums. Knowing the vibe of the band and the vibe of the town I can see why this band is really, really awesome. You should really consider picking up a Ceramic Animal CD or add them to your playlist, you will not be disappointed.
