Neverlanded conveys a fresh perspective with their debut EP release “Fluffy Unicorns United”

Neverlanded conveys a fresh perspective with their debut EP release “Fluffy Unicorns United” set to drop April 1st. Hailing from Northern London and originally formed as an online project, Neverlanded is a trio of alt rock, social activists consisting of Pete Bloom (vocals, guitar), Niki Jester (bass, vocals), and Jaca Freer (drums, vocals).

Definitely not an April Fool’s Day prank, their first EP “Fluffy Unicorns United” (F.U.U) is a sampling of some serious work based on some dark and threatening life experiences they have endured.

The lead track “Brainsane” is a heavy Nirvana influenced head banger, while “Scream 4 Ice Cream” is a lighter interesting mix of inspired lyrics and an innovative sound.

“This Friend Of Mine” and “MesS.O.S.” both tackle the trauma of mental health issues through thought provoking lyrics, but with diverse rock/punk qualities.

Neverlanded are proud supporters of MermaidsUK supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve a happier life in the face of great adversity. They work to raise awareness about gender nonconformity in children and young people amongst the general public. They campaign for the recognition of gender dysphoria in young people and lobby for improvements in professional services.

Making smart use of the four song EP format, “Fluffy Unicorns United” is a laudable effort that is certain to leave listeners wanting more.

The altruistic Neverlanded are making “Fluffy Unicorns United” available solely on the basis of donating to MermaidsUK. So make a donation and get the EP starting April 1st!
