With winter still clinging on in the northeast, Hudson Taylor warmed a wee bit of Boston Wednesday night. Bringing a little Irish spring of their own, the Irish Folk/Americana/Rock band ignited the sold out crowd at the Orpheum Theatre.  Popular songs, ‘Run With Me’, and “Old Soul” from their early 2018 ‘Feel It Again’ 5-track EP release, grabbed the toe tapping crowds’ attention.  While ‘Feel It Again’, and “Travellin” had the audience singing and clapping along.

The sprightly brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor, began their musical journey busking on the streets of Dublin, and building a large fan following by uploading their videos on YouTube. Their second release of 2018 “Bear Creek To Dame Street” mixes some new tracks and also feature songs captured from a sold-out concert at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

An uplifting, and fun experience, Hudson Taylor concerts are full of honest, unpretentious music, delivered by talented musicians.  The infectious “Don’t Know Why”, featuring the incredible fiddle/violin of Tadhg Walsh-Peelo, is a perfect example of what makes Hudson Taylor such a great live band.  On stage, Hudson Taylor is lively and engaging.
