Country megastar and three-time reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, Jason Aldean premiered his ”Ride All Night Tour” to a sold out Mohegan Sun arena.

Carly Pearce

Opening the night was Kentucky’s Carly Pearce. A talented and energetic performer, she is fresh off a big year, touring with the likes of Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, and Luke Bryan. Carly entertained the early birds with popular songs “Closer To You”, “Hide The Wine”, and her No. 1 hit from 2017, “Every Little Thing”.

Next up was the red hot Kane Brown. In 2014, Kane Brown began posting videos of his covers of songs by Brantley Gilbert, Billy Currington, Alan Jackson and other singers on social media. Before long Brown had over 1 million followers on Facebook, and the ever resourceful Brown even used Kickstarter to help fund his EP Closer.  Referred to by Jason Andean as his “little brother”, the two have grown to be close friends, enjoying their second tour together. Brown played a full set starting with “Baby Come Back to Me”, “What If’s”, and “Weekend”.

Kane has an easy way about him, as he moves around on stage effortlessly singing “Pull It Off”, “Heaven” and “Lose It”.

Always a huge draw, Jason Aldean graciously started his “Ride All Night Tour” with two consecutive nights at Mohegan to accommodate all his fans.

Playing a plethora of hits that span his entire career, he had his multitude of fans up on their feet singing every word starting with “Take A Little Ride”, “Tattoos On This Town”, “Fly Over States”, and “Big Green Tractor”.

It was clear Aldean and his band were having a good time with new sophisticated lighting and new stage design that included mic stands in the middle and on both ends of the stage that allowed him to easily connect with the audience.

“Burning It Down”, “Night Train”, and “Drowns The Whisky” sounded great in the arena, along with “Hicktown” from his self-titled first album, and “She’s Country” from his “Wide Open” album.

In support of his Billboard 200 chart topping album , “Rearview Town”, (released last April) Jason performed “Girl Like You”, “You Make It Easy”, “Getting Warmed Up”, and the critically acclaimed self-titled “Rearview Town”, a big song with a true reflection of small town familiarity.

Taking nothing for granted, once again Jason Aldean earns his place atop of the elite in Country Rock. His “Ride All Night Tour” is packed with great music, even between sets, Dee Jay Silver kept the crowd engaged and the energy a peak levels. Jason Aldean’s “Ride All Night Tour” has just begun the 30 city nationwide trek that will span the summer and culminate at Detroit Michigan’s DTE Energy Music Theatre on Sept. 28.
