Q Magazine, has announced that Nadine Shah, one of the UK’s most critically acclaimed songwriters and musicians will become the first female host of the awards, hosting the 29th Q Awards in association with Absolute Radio on October 16th 2019 at Camden’s Roundhouse.
Nadine’s unique voice has been in high demand and she’s collaborated with such artists as Portishead, Vivienne Westwood, The Camerata Orchestra, Ghostpoet, Charles Hazlewood, The Invisible and John Cale. Her stunning third album Holiday Destination was released last year, a triumphant unification of a political message with an infectiously driving groove that received praise across the board and earned her a Mercury Prize nomination.
