UK rock band Anchor Lane unveils official music video

UK rock band Anchor Lane unveiled the official music video for Fame Shame”. The single will be released Friday October 11th and is taken from the band’s eagerly awaited debut album being released in January 2020.

“Fame Shame” is a raucous up-tempo rock track that condemns society’s fascination with technology and social media. The song was written by singer Conor Gaffney, guitarist Lawrence O’ Brien, bass player Matthew Quigley and drummer Scott Hanlon and produced by renowned rock musician, writer and producer Toby Jepson (Wayward Sons, Gun, Little Angels).

The video was shot in the band’s hometown of Glasgow with director Ross Boag (Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic and Fatherson) whose aim was to capture the raw energy of the band’s live performance.

Anchor Lane came to the public’s attention with the release of their EP New Beginning. They toured incessantly scoring notable guest spots with Cheap Trick, Eagles of Death Metal and Tremonti. The band have garnered an impressive reputation as a thrilling and dynamic live act and have notched up appearances at rock festivals including Download, Isle of Wight, Stone Free, Belladrum and Hard Rock Hell.
