Rock At Night checks out a dozen new bands a day but this one is definitely on our radar. His name is Micky James. We just listened to “Kings”, which he describes “is a commentary on the current relationship between the American government and its people. Despite how engaged and vocal the younger generations of this nation have become regarding social and political change, it seems that the powers that be continue to ignore our pleas.”
Not only do I like the message behind it, but “Kings” sounds like The Struts, which we’ve been following for years. Rock At Night definitely has a penchant for the 70s glam rock sound. Check this video out!
