A Rebooted Single from The Cadillac Three–for a Country Band They Sure Do Rock!

Country Fuzz by Cadillac Three

By Anita Stewart, Managing Editor

The Cadillac Three has released a brand new version of their song “Hard Out Here for a Country Boy” from their fourth studio released album “Country Fuzz” that dropped earlier this year, on February 7th. With lead singer Jaren Johnston, this was a special re-boot of this song for the UK audience. The original US version also featured vocalists Travis Tritt and Chris Janson.

If you don’t know who this band is, you should! The band has toured the US and Europe on their own and along with Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Metallica and Slayer, just to name a few. They are award winning in the UK–they were the Best New Band at the 2014 UK Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards and were got the nomination in 2019 for the CMA International Award for International Artist Achievement in the US.

The band members are singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason, and lap-steel player Kelby Ray. The band has been performing for over a decade and are known for their wild and crazy live shows. Well, are they country? Or are they rock? YOU get to choose!

During the pandemic since touring has halted for now, the band has created “Country Fuzz Presents as a way for musicians and their hometown venue “The Basement” to keep the music going as a virtual concert across the globe. You can purchase tickets now for their virtual shows. (CLICK HERE). They are also giving back to their community by supporting their local Second Harvest Food Bank. Take a listen to their rebooted song, check out their latest album (yes, vinyl is available), sing along and tap your feet. Be sure to check them out live on the web!
