Album Debut: “Table by the Wall”
Produced by: Lunaria Records
Release Date: February 5, 2021
Hailing from London, England, this is one kick–a** band that loves American music and this recording is an over the top tribute to the classic rock and blues musicians of the past. Their debut album is remarkable and a rather large recording with 12 tracks, each paying homage to the specific artists that have inspired the band members. Each track delivers!
Who is this band? “A band of brothers, fighting the good fight to bring raw, energetic Rock ’n’ Roll to the stage,” says Adam Rigg, the lead vocalist and bass player for The Bad Days Blues Band. The rest of the band members are: Sam Spranger on harmonica, Nick Peck on guitar and Andrea Tremolada on Drums.
The buzz about their talent began in 2017 when the band opened up for Delbert McClinton in Times Square in NYC. Then in 2019 they played the Isle of Wight and won the “Best New Blues Band” in the 2019 Digital Blues Awards contest. They have also shared the stage and opened for names like Sheryl Crow, Kirk Fletcher, George Ezra and The Killers.
Legendary producer Chris Bolster produced this recording and his name should be very familiar to those in the business. His session credits include Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters and Oasis. Rock at Night loves this band and is waiting to hear more! Standout cuts for this writer were: Hurricane, Burn it Down and The Hustler. The album is available for purchase now and you can also hear it on all streaming platforms. This recording is going to get me a speeding ticket!
