Little Hurt aka Colin Dieden, known by his 10 years as the front man for the alternative The Mowgli’s has been striking it out on his own with an overwhelming amount of success. His formula is the secret sauce. With the latest EP release he is becoming an established force when it comes to his solo songwriting and getting lots of attention. 2021 has been good luck so far, with the “Every Second” EP receiving kudos from the press and media, including Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Alternative Press, Pop Matters, American Songwriter, Music Connection and more.
He is fast becoming a favorite here at Rock at Night. We covered the EP release in late 2020. Click HERE. And another single from that release HERE.
What Colin says about this latest video: “Messed Up’ was a difficult story to tell while writing it, so I wanted to convey that in this video. I hadn’t done a live performance aspect in a Little Hurt video yet and I thought it could be a way to successfully convey some of the aggression I’ve felt surrounding this song.
He continued, “I brought on my good friend Ryan Blewett as Director/Producer to help tell this story, but I didn’t want this to be narrative based. I wanted it to feel something like the way it felt for me while I was living through it. It builds in intensity throughout, and I think it captures the emotional essence of the song.”
Little Hurt plans to tour as soon as he is able to and streaming performances will be announced soon. Rock at Night is waiting for the next release and tour dates and will announce them as soon as they are final!
