Rock At Night is premiering the third single of 2021 –“Hurricane”– from UK alt rock band The Late Aprils. Comprised of four guys from Hertfordshire, The Late Aprils focus on culturally and socially relevant topics in true rock form. The song discusses how anxiety and/or depression comes on like a storm, but like all storms, passes with time. “Take a bit, you never say you never will…fake a bit, you’re holding on but looking ill.” We all know how COVID isolation has taken a toll on mental health, so the subject matter is relevant and timely.
But, not is all serious with “Hurricane”. The song is fast-paced, high energy, with a catchy chorus that says, ” Wait! See this all come down…see it with a heart attack…holding on to hope.” The Late Aprils is a band on Rock At Night’s radar with songs like this, we are craving more.
