Single and Video Release: “Inside and Outside”
April 16, 2021
Brian May‘s (Queen) protege, Arielle has released her second single, “Inside and Outside” on April 16th from her eagerly awaited and upcoming album “Analog Girl in a Digital World.” The album will finally drop on May 7th, 2021 and signed copies of the album can be pre-ordered on vinyl and CD HERE. Rock at Night reviewed the first single from this album “Peace of Mind,” check that out HERE. I also spoke with her several months ago–the podcast is linked HERE.
On the latest song and video release: “When I was recording the new album ‘Analog Girl In A Digital World,’ I thought this was the closest song in sound and production that I got to what my goal was in my head,” says Arielle. “Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ meets something new. The song is about finding the balance between the external, dense physical world we live in, as well as countering it with the spiritual and emotional connection of love.” This beautifully shot video with Arielle playing her “BMG Arielle” guitar was captured with the surf, sand and sun imagery around the landmark Postcard Inn on St. Petersburg Beach, Florida.
Brian May says,“Arielle is an awesome musician. She is a truly phenomenal player, with an ability to produce the most beautiful tones as well technical mastery. Of course, it is in the fingers, but I was keen to discover how she had fashioned her own instrument to achieve her sound. We collaborated in making the Arielle a new mission to guitarists everywhere – to open up a new door to excellence!” The specs and more information about her custom guitar, “The BMG Arielle” made by Brian May Guitars (Queen) can be checked out HERE. Fans can order the guitar from Brian May Guitars HERE.
Arielle has four livestreaming sessions (May 13th, June 17th, July 22nd, Aug 19th) that will enable her fans to experience four completely different shows with full album plays, in-studio recordings, storytelling sessions and more. Fans can see the broadcasts in North America and the UK at 8pm local time and a portion of the proceeds will go to Arielle’s The Tonewood Forest non-profit, a charity that conserves the life and well-being of trees. Get your tickets and more info HERE.
Arielle is a favorite here at Rock at Night, so stay tuned for the review of the entire album “Analog Girl in a Digital World.”
