Review: Moon City Master’s “I’ve Got a Feeling” – Release date May 7, 2021
Rock At Night says: The New York City dynamic duo Moon City Masters (MCM) are continuing their retro, feel-good music trend by digging into the Beatles’ collection of a lesser known song “I’ve Got a Feeling.” Die-hard fans may remember it from the Let It Be album. Covering a Beatles’ song is usually a pretty lofty task but MCM flesh the song out with a lusher sound and harmonies to boot. I actually think they have improved upon the original (Beatles fans will hate me for saying this). The vocals are bluesy, soulful, and rocking. The lead guitar solo near the end has great tone. Check it out, people!
