Single/Video Review: The Electric Petals – “Cherry Red” – The second single from the LP Wild At Heart-Premiered September 17, 2021
Rock At Night says: The Ontario band The Electric Petals have successfully captured a cool and sophisticated sound in their new single “Cherry Red” . The song is very cool, jazzy, and atmospheric, taking on hints of First Wave (“New Wave” to us 80s folks). The bass riff is infectious and captivating and the vocalist reminds me of Ian McCulloch of Echo and the Bunnymen. Really cool!
