Shows to Salute First Responders and Healthcare Workers Proceeds To Help Provide Educational Scholarships to the Children of the Fallen Heroes
John Fogerty will headline the upcoming “Charity Pros for Heroes” concert events in Florida to salute the first responders and healthcare workers and honor the fallen Heroes of the pandemic. Proceeds from the November fundraiser shows will help provide educational scholarships and a “Megan’s Wish” to the Children of the fallen Heroes.
The Fogerty headlining shows will kick off at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL, on November 20 with country artist Lauren Alaina supporting. Foreigner will join Fogerty at Hertz Arena in Estero, FL, on November 21, before winding up at the Amway Center in Orlando, November 23 for the finale with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, Cheap Trick. American Idol finalist Casey Bishop, a Florida native, will be the opener for all of the events.
The Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard will begin each show with a memorial to the local fallen Heroes.
“It is truly an honor to perform for all the Heroes, for the first time in over twenty months, many of the men and women that worked tirelessly to protect us, can cut loose and enjoy a great show,” said Fogerty.
The Charity Pros, a Ft. Myers, FL based non-profit, was founded in 2019 by young entrepreneur Megan Maloney to advocate for children’s social causes and to raise funds to help support the surviving children of the fallen.
