Review: The Damn Truth’s single “Only Love” – Release date January 14, 2022
Canadian Alt-rock four piece The Damn Truth have recently released new single “Only Love” this past Friday. The Bob Rock-produced track is the third single taken from the band’s third studio album Now or Nowhere via Spectra Musique/Sony Music. The four –piece consists of bassist Py Letellier, drummer Dave Traina, Lead vocalist and guitarist Lee-La Baum and fellow guitarist Tom Shemer.
Bob Rock is renowned for his work with Metallica on ‘The Black Album’ and the Grammy-Award winning producer weaves his magic again on this retro track. The track is an enchanting one steeped full of catchy melodies and a positive message. Lead singer Lee-La Baum’s soulful vocals croon over electric acoustic guitar. The song explodes into light with pounding drums and soaring guitar breaks to create a warm and enjoyable song for these challenging times.
