Video Review: “Fear of the Dawn” by Jack White – Release date February 11, 2022

Jack White you out did yourself again (shocker). This artist never fails to amaze me by his music and fashion sense. The iconic RED look of The White Stripes fit well for the band, but this new shade of BLUE for his solo stuff is on a whole other level. A different side of Jack White, yet somewhat nostalgic the way the track brings back that true garage rock feel we all first fell in love with.

“Fear of the Dawn” is the title track for his upcoming album coming out on April 8th, which is the first night of his North American Tour coincidentally starting off in his beloved city of Detroit. The song has a classic hard rock sound featuring screeching sick riffs that MUST BE PLAYED LOUD!!!!! I also love how the editing is highly saturated and a bit spazzy, reminding me of the cover of Lou Reed’s 1972 album “Transformer”.
