Single Review: Moon Taxi’s “Live For It” –
Today, Nashville-based alt-rock band Moon Taxi has released an acoustic version for their song “Live For It” – the original version of the song can be found on their Silver Dream album released in 2021 via BMG.
Rock At Night Says: Slowed down from the original rhythmic “dance beat” version, the song “Live For It” has been stripped to a romantic, acoustic version. Accompanied by piano, guitars, and strings the lyrics are now the focal point. One can picture a couple who is totally immersed in each other’s company. Living for the moment they “live for it…like there is no tomorrow.” Enjoy the present. We listened to this version for three times already. Simply beautiful.
