Live Review: Versty – Asbury Lanes, Asbury Park, New Jersey-March 19, 2022
Vrsty hail from NYC and they are grateful that 10 Years has taken them on tour with them. I connected with Vrsty as I usually like to get together with some of the opening bands that come through the venues I work for.
Vrsty was incredibly cool about me hanging out with them prior to their show at Asbury Lanes so I can get some band photos after their sound check. I seem to have a knack for picking out cool bands to cover and Vrtsy was no different. They were excited but also a little nervous as they had some reps from their record label Spinefarm Records coming down to check them out. I can definitely say they did not disappoint. Great vocals, great music and a great live show. Lead singer Joey Varela had amazing stage presence to go along with his strong vocals that had a little heavy with some rhythm and blues mixed in.
