Video Review: Virgin Call’s “Twice Bastard”
Rock At Night Says: For many of us, it is probably very hard to imagine how it is to do anything, let alone make music during wartime.
Unfortunately, people in Ukraine at the moment do not have to imagine that, they have to try and survive. Yet, music, particularly good music can be one of those tools of survival during wartime. Your soul can stay intact, at least.
Virgin Call, the guys from Odessa, Ukraine try exactly that with their new single/video that has a fitting title βTwice Bastard.β And it is some good stuff too, combining some hard rock chops with modern electronica frills and beats. Maybe it can play its part, no matter how small, in stopping the war.
