Thundermother, Sweden’s All-Female Rockers Announce Their Tour in EU and North America

WOW! These ladies got it and whatever “it” is–it has me moving in my chair and rocking out with them! This band is tireless! After extensively touring in 2021 and now with a huge “Heat Wave” tour happening throughout Europe, they are making waves everywhere with some scorching performances! “Heat Wave” was the band’s last album that was released in 2020. The band is playing at some of the most notable venues throughout Europe and is on everyone’s radar right now.

The band is: Guernica Mancini on vocals, Filippa Nässil on guitar, Emlee Johansson on drums
and Mona Lindgren on bass.

The band’s second leg of their tour is in North America and begins on August 21st, 2022 with their first date in Toronto. This coincides with the release of their fifth studio album “Black and Gold” (it drops August 19th). Look for Rock at Night’s review of this album–it will be published on our site soon! The ladies will be supporting the bands’ Whitesnake and their Farewell Tour and the Scorpions’s Rock Believer Tour.

Anita grew up in a rock and roll radio station that her father owned and has a musical family. Spent a few years singing back up. Now sings in the shower! She is a USAF veteran and was elected to local office and worked as staff on three presidential campaigns as a Social Media and Virtual Outreach expert. Plays a variety of musical instruments including ukulele and she loves drum circles. Her favorite music genres are all of them--Alternative to Zydeco. When she is not writing, she is knitting, painting, attending concerts and live music jams and exploring nature with her camera. She has recently retired but no rocking chair for her!
