ROCK AT NIGHT EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE – The Alright Maybes’ EP featuring two singles – “Kurt” and “The Man Who Played the Part – September 1, 2022 (Worldwide September 2, 2022)
ROCK AT NIGHT SAYS: The Alright Maybes’ song “Kurt” takes you back to the retro 70s sound–think Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders. The song has a moderate groove and Angela Reinhart’s pure, clear voice carries a tone similar to Olivia Newton-John’s voice in some phrasings. Let’s not forget the slick lead guitar solo and trippy bass and drum beat.
“The Man That Played the Part” displays sweet sounding vocals, nice descending notes in the chorus, and choppy electric guitar rhythms producing an almost psych rock or dreamy feel. Again, there’s guitar solos and plenty of alt rock and pop appeal. We are looking forward to hearing more from this intriguing band!
