Rock At Night Says: Odd City’s video for “The Upside Down” shows the band performing the single live in a studio. Glimpses of each member is flashed on the screen, as the heavy riffs permeate through melodic metal heaven. The song takes us to a dark place of dissonance, as the guitars rhythmically keep time. The song and video lead us to a grungy feel with muted colors, and raspy wails. Videos of galloping deer, leopards, and other wildlife are shone on the screens as the song melds into a guitar jam interlude.

The title “The Upside Down” is familiar to all fans of Stranger Things. Perhaps Odd City is trying to take us into the abyss of grunge and metal down below.
