Joe Bonamassa Releases Rambunctious Rendition of Guitar Slim’s, “Well, I Done Got Over It,” Featured On His New Studio Album Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 Out October 6th
Joe Bonamassa’s Blues Deluxe Volume 2 album is out on October 6th Twenty years after his original Blues Deluxe LP was issued to critical acclaim. The album features two new songs and eight newly recorded covers including his latest single release “Well I Done Got Over It” originally written and recorded by Guitar Slim (Eddie Jones) in 1953. This version while remaining true to the spirit of the original brings a fresh approach that incorporates a big band sound that permeates throughout finally gives way to a transfixing guitar solo in true Bonamassa style. Joe’s quest to Keep the Blues Alive is on course and gathering momentum. Check the video out here.
