Review: TREMENDOUS ‘Fingerprints’ – Release date August 4, 2023
Modern artist being inspired by the seventies is no mew thing, with some of them falling short of the mark, others doing that sound quite some justice, even bringing it up to modern times.
So, a British artist being inspired by the height of glam rock, that Ziggy Stardust David Bowie sound, or Mott The Hoople in their ‘All The Young Dudes’ phase is nothing unusual, unless their pickup on that sound is as good as the man that goes under the moniker of Tremendous does here on ‘Fingerprints.’ And these musical fingerprints are almost as good as the moniker itself.
The debut album “Relentless” was recorded around London, Birmingham and Sweden with producers such as Gavin Monaghan (Kings Of Leon, Robert Plant, The Editors). It’s dedicated to my friend/manager the late Adrian Millar who was the mgr of the UK/US rock band The Babys.
