The Glorious Sons are out on tour in support of their latest album Glory, which is the fourth album released since the band was formed in 2011. The Sons have been going non-stop since then–whether out as a headliner or as support for such acts as Greta Van Fleet and even The Rolling Stones.

Opening up for the Glorious Sons was the Velveteers, a band out of Boulder, Colorado. This heavy- hitting trio blend a mix of garage punk with vintage hard rock. Their set was full of songs off of their album Nightmare Daydream, which was released in 2021.

The Glorious Sons took the stage at around 9:30 p.m. Lead singer Brett Emmons was soaking up the admiration from the crowd before the band broke into “My Poor Heart” off of their 2017 release Young Beauties & Fools. Emmons worked the entire stage, which made for a very entertaining night.  Near the end of their set the crowd erupted when drummer Adam Paquette began the intro of their smash hit “S.O.S (Sawed Off Shotgun)” also off their album Young Beauties & Fools.
The tour wraps up in the US on Oct. 15th. in St. Louis, so you may still be able to catch them near you.
