Review: LIPZ’s single “Bye Bye Beautiful” -Release date: January 8, 2024
Many Kiss fans are somewhat disappointed by the re-vamped version of their favorite band. Sure, that one can be open to a debate, but these fans, as well as any other that love this band and as well as any other version of the way heavy metal and hard rock music sounded in its eighties heyday should give a listen to LIPZ and their latest single “Bye Bye Beautiful” from their upcoming album Changing The Melody.
Yes, LIPZ don’t shy away by both looking and sounding somewhat like KISS, and their are not ashamed of it. Yet, what this quartet do is somehow clean up their sound, still keeping it tight and heavy, but adding some nifty vocal harmonies along the way. The good melody they come up with helps them quite a bit.
It seems that the Klintberg brothers Alexander (vocals, guitar) and Koffe (drums), along with guitarist Conny Svärd, starting all the way back in 2011, have come up with a formula that will keep the fans of this sound quite happy.
LIPZ will launch of their sophomore album, “Changing The Melody” on 15th March 2024.
