Review: Lovelorn Dolls – Beautiful Chaos EP-Release date: January 25, 2024
We are in the gothic rock territory, and this Brussels, Belgium duo make a good effort to turn our dreams into nightmare, and take us back. Swiftly.
To do that, Kristell Lowagie – vocals and Bernard Daubresse – guitars & synths give us one of the key tracks from their forthcoming album and no less than five different remixes to make sure that we get their point across.
And with Lowagie’s excellent vocals and some nifty guitar work from Daubresse, they are able enough to do it with the original version.
The remixes accentuate the dance and dream pop to suit every listener’s liking, and, of course, to raise the interest for the forthcoming album, that could be true joy for all goth rock fans.
