Single Review-C-BEEM’s “Nightwatchman for the Nation” – Release date September 25, 2024
Chris Mills aka C-Beem is a favorite here at Rock at Night; we have interviewed him and reviewed his music several times. You can read our most recent write-up of the album “Jammin’ The Steam Towers HERE and a podcast interview with RAN’s editor HERE.
Normally hitting his fans up with his groovy sounds of post-punk, retro synth-pop, he decided to turn this song in a different direction. His latest single is titled “Night Watchman for the Nation,” a cool acoustic intertwined with lush lyrics and some softer synth in the background; the song reminiscent of a soft rock anthem from the 80’s with lyrical hooks that everyone can sing along to. C-Beem’s tenor is perfect for this style of music.
C Beem says, “This isn’t a collab – purely C-Beem, and I hope you like it. It’s already on YouTube, Apple Music and Spotify plus others by the time you read this…It represents a warmer, folkier sound than previous releases.”
Rock At Night Says: “I really loved this song and so ready to hear more from C-Beem. I love the acoustic troubadour-type vibe and the lyrical hooks with the softer synthesizer; this reminded me of sing along songs at a concert, a house show or even a coffeehouse. Keep it going, C-Beem!“
