Review: Lord Sunny The Unifier – Keep It Fierce – Release date : November 15, 2024
Picking a single from an yet to be released album can be a tricky affair in itself, and things get even more complicated if your prospective album is to be a concept one.
And if you are a sort of a post punk/psych rock band that wants to take at where we are in 2024 from a perspective of a time traveler that casually bumped in this point in time, things can gt even more complicated.
Yet, that has not prevented Lord Sonny The Unifier, such a band from Brooklyn, New York to forge ahead and release a series of singles from their forthcoming album You Were Born to Save Your Life.
The latest in that series is “Keep It Fierce,” quite a blistering song, a sort of an intriguing combination of Motorhead and Joy Division, and serves as a perfect introduction to the band’s February 2025 album.
