Since the late sixties and the times of MC5 and The Stooges, kids from Detroit devoting themselves to music always loved the heavier side of their rock sounds.

No exception here from Visitor another Detroit band (Randy Gray (vocals/rhythm guitar), Steve Dombroski (lead guitar), Dustin Buckley (bass) and Jason Dombroski (drums), whose latest single “Hollywood Kid” hit the streets on Black Friday, December 13, 2024.

Produced by Chuck Alkazian (Soundgarden producer, among others), it is surely a heavy-hitting sound we have here, the one more aligned with where heavy rock, particularly heavy metal stands these days, and Visitor may be just visiting with a single, but they surely don’t intend to take any prisoners with it.

As Steve Dombroski, the lead guitarist and one of the Dombroski brothers in the band notes, We wanted something raw and powerful, something that when someone heard it, they could go, “Yeah, I know what that feels like, I can relate to that and I’m not alone in this”.

And yes, you sense that sentiment throughout this one.
