Review: Ty Wood – “Magic” – Release date November 15, 2024
The music coming out of Nashville has for some time been moving away from what could be labeled ‘classic country music,’ incorporating so many elements of pop, rock, soul R&B and whatnot else.
One of the more recent artists moving into those ‘other’ directions is Ty Wood, who, after his first single. “Living It Up,” has come up with another finger-popping combination of pop, rock R&B, without losing the country connection – ‘Magic.’
Wood notes, “Life should be lived and shared with those we care about and who care about us. I’m sure it sounds simple, but we often get so busy that we miss “moments”. I know that “moments” can be very profound alone, but when they are shared with someone you love, life elevates and can bring out about “Magic”.
With Wood’s excellent vocals, and always immaculate instrumental and arranging backup you can get from Nashville professionals, Wood delivers yet another pop delight that deserves a place in the charts.
