Review: Tea Eater’s single “Little White Dog (in a Gated Community)” – Release date: February 14, 2025
If the title of this single by this band from Brooklyn, sounds like a good slice of left-field art-rock, then you are exactly on the right path.
And while either left-field and art-rock could indicate something too specialty for some tastes, these gals and guys bring quite a bit of punk pop energy to their music making it something that could appeal to a much wider audience than the first-mentioned labels indicate.
Tea Eater is actually led by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin, starting to make some live waves first with their energetic performances. Yet their initial album ‘Obsession’ and a set of singles that ensued, including this one culled from their upcoming album ‘I Don’t Believe In Bad Luck’ that is coming up this March, indicate that we are getting a new intriguing pop-rock force.
